Akordolia.wpntr2018-12-19T17:55:45+00:00In Vogtland (East Germany) in 1880s the first time a zither was equipped with a manual. By pressing down buttons from a bove strings are pressed against the fretboard. One row of buttons changes the melody, and the other row of buttons can change the chord which backs the melody. The instrument we have was invented and produced by Otto Teller from Klingenthal. There are three strings for playing the melody and 4 strings for five chords.
