Yuequin.wpntr2018-12-19T18:45:18+00:00The Yueqin (= moon instrument) from China is a kind of instrument having a short neck and a round and flat body. Seven of the ten frets are attached to the cover. These frets enable to produce a fixed sound order. This diatonic instrument with two strings has a chromatic version with three strings made from silk. The instrument on the left is a very old and worn instrument with carved ornamentation. This ornamentation is more intense on the cover. It is possible to see a dragon figure on the top of the instrument. The neck part is like a spike.
