Banam

‘Banam’ (rightside) is a simple instrument and coming from the tribes in center of India. It is carved from one piece of wood and its bottom part is coated with animal skin. It has only one single string and this string is not tuned by a peg but by a cord. There are carvings on the side parts of the instrument and an extra sound hole at the bottom.
