Riwana Drmnyenwpntr2018-12-19T18:36:56+00:00This old and rare instrument is played with a plectrum by the communities living in the Himalayas region. In Ladakh they call it ‘Dramnyen’. It is supposed that this instrument orignates from Zanskar region. One of the six strings is attached to the side part of the instrument. The back part of the instrument has carved figures for ornamentation. The front part is covered with animal skin, the neck part is joined with a carved wooden handle.
