Hasapiwpntr2018-12-19T18:11:31+00:00These thin and navicular instruments are played by the ‘Batak’ community living around the ‘Toba’ lake in the North regions of Sumatra. They call it ‘Hasapi’. In Indonesia it is called ‘Kutjapi’. There is a longish space at the bottom part of the instrument for sound. There is squatty figure at the head part of the tuner box. A head figure is carved unto the bottom part of the instrument on the right.
