Triangle

Originating from Europe, it is an Idiophone instrument type belonging to the percussion instrument family. The modern version of this instrument consists of a metal and generally from steel bent in a triangle shape two edge of which are rolled and one of its edge doesn’t touch the other part. This triangle instrument can be hold in the air by a rope wire on the upper part of the instrument. It is generally played by beating a short metallic knob. It is used in Western music.
