Tulum.wpntr2018-12-19T18:45:06+00:00Originating from Anatolia, it is a kind of folk wind instrument. It resembles the ‘Bagpipe’ used in Scothland but this Bagpipe has a reed which can control the low-pitched sound. Its body part is made from goat skin called as ‘Çepiç’ and its holes are tied. ’’Lülük’ is attached to one of its front foots and ‘Nav’ is attached to the other. A reed made from cane is placed inside it. It is blown up by blowing from the mouthpiece called as ‘Dudula’. This squeezed air in the instrument passes to ‘Zimbona’ a kind of pipe with holes on the ‘Nav’, and the desired sound is produced by fingers here. It is used in the Turkish folk music.
