It has various names in Turkey such as ‘Çifte, Argun, Argul, Kargin or Zambir). It is a traditional instrument in Egypt. It is a wind instrument with one reed. It has five or seven holes and a long ‘Drone’ pipe ( Ardiyya in Arabic and means ‘soil’), a melodic pipe, and a pair of pipe consisting of two ‘Arghul’tubes.
