Nyamwezıharp

A kind of bow harp, this instrument is played by the Nyamwezi community in Tanzania (cow herd harp). Its nearly straight neck part goes out from the head part which is carved as a head. The body is made from wood. A triangle sound hole is near the side part of the instrument. The second hole is closed with a round and colurful metallic piece. The cover is made from a shaped metal. The strings are stabilised inside this cover with small wood pieces.
