Saxophone

Although being cooper alloy, it is reviewed under the wooden wind instrument category because it has the characteristic feature of  ‘color instrument’. It was invented by a German instrumentalist Adolph Sax in 1841, it is 65cm and has a buntek reed, the sound of the instrument is ‘e flat’. Its musical notes are written with treble clef. The first part of the instrument where the reed attached and blown is called as ‘Ligature’; the second part is ‘Neck’; the third part is ‘Body’, the fourth part is ‘Bell’. It is used in jazz music and in the band as a solo or accompaniment instrument.
